Jakala’s extensive background includes building successful dance programs in schools and working with people of all ages. She’s committed to creating spaces where dancers—from beginners to experienced movers—can explore movement, build confidence, and find joy. Her mission is to create an inclusive space for dancers of all levels, particularly welcoming beginners and those hesitant to return to dance. Her classes are about more than just perfecting moves—they're about finding joy in movement and embracing the process.

In addition to technical instruction, Jakala incorporates wellness practices such as journaling and reflection into her classes, fostering a deeper connection between mind and body. Her work bridges the gap between serious dance training and the pure enjoyment of moving your body, ensuring that participants feel challenged yet supported. She often reminds her students, “If you get lost, just have fun on your journey back.”

Whether in the studio, on stage, or in a fitness setting, Jakala’s goal is to inspire and empower others through the transformative power of dance, creating space for joy, confidence, and self-expression. Her holistic approach ensures that everyone who moves with her leaves feeling uplifted, both physically and mentally.
